What makes a Riverdspark service different?
It's the 15-minute consult that most salons skip.
Before scissors or colour brush touch your hair, your stylist spends focused time understanding your lifestyle, your existing wardrobe palette, and the specific results you've loved or hated before. That information shapes every technical decision — the angle of a cut, the tone warmth in a gloss, the finish on a facial. We believe the real measure of a great appointment isn't how you look walking out the door; it's how well the look holds up three weeks later when you're dressing for work, a dinner, or a weekend away. Our services are priced to reflect the time and skill involved, not rushed to move to the next chair. Most appointments run 60 to 120 minutes, and we leave space for follow-up questions before you leave.

Precision cut — from $75
Includes a shampoo, scalp massage, blow-dry, and a personalized styling tutorial. Suited to all hair lengths and textures. Add a bang trim or neck shave at no extra charge.
Full-colour service — from $130
All-over colour, highlights, balayage, or a root-to-tip gloss. All colour services include an Olaplex bond-building treatment, a toner pass, and a blow-dry finish.
Balayage & lived-in colour — from $195
Hand-painted freehand balayage, babylights, or a grown-out highlight melt. Sessions are 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on density. A toner, gloss, and blow-dry are always included.
Express facial — from $85
A 45-minute targeted treatment using clinical actives for hydration, brightening, or light resurfacing. Ideal between full treatment sessions or as a standalone skin reset.
Extended skincare session — from $140
A 75-minute deep-treatment facial including enzyme exfoliation, serum infusion, and a massage protocol. Your stylist coordinates the skincare palette with your current hair colour and tone.
Gel nails & nail art — from $70
Structured gel overlay or full-coverage colour on natural nails. Includes cuticle care, shape, a base coat, two colour coats, and top coat. Custom art and nail jewellery available on request.
What Riverdspark doesn't do — and why that's a good thing
Scope clarity means you get genuine expertise, not a diluted generalist experience.
We specialize in personal styling, colour artistry, targeted skincare, and nail finishing. We do not offer waxing, lash extensions, spray tanning, or massage therapy — those services require dedicated certifications and setups we've chosen not to pursue so we can go deeper in our core areas. Results in colour and skincare also depend on factors outside our control: your hair's porosity history, the products you use between appointments, and environmental conditions like Winnipeg's hard water and dry winters. We'll always give you honest guidance on what to expect and what maintenance your look will need — including the honest answer when a result will take more than one session to achieve safely.
